Hôtel Tamgout

4-star hotel set in the heart of the Yakouren forest, in Kabylie, on National Route 12, about forty kilometres from Tizi Ouzou. Opened in 1974, the establishment was fully refurbished over nearly nine years before reopening on 15 December 2025: it now has 79 rooms and suites, all rebuilt, with private bathroom and view of the forest or mountains. Rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility are available. On site: a panoramic restaurant with 150 covers that showcases Kabyle cuisine, an outdoor swimming pool, a wellness area with spa and sauna, a fitness room and rooms for seminars and events. Breakfast is included. A natural starting point for hiking in the Yakouren cedar forest and excursions to the Djurdjura massif.
